The housed in the 180 year old Al Fahidi Fort, and Bastakia region which has wind towered houses, that is still standing as a reminder of the grace-full and resourceful architecture that predated the arrival of electricity and air-conditioning.

Cultural Tour - USD 38.00
On this tour, we’ll see Dubai’s neighboring Emirates–Sharjah Corniche & Ajman. Sharjah is often regarded as “the cultural city of the Emirates”. We drive past the Souq Al Markazi – a splendid example for Islamic architecture. On our way to the Heritage Village we drive past the Islamic center and Mosque, the Sharjah Clock Tower and the Rolla Tree Ajman MuseumMonument.
The Heritage Village is the old Souq (market place) and it used to be the Commercial center of Sharjah. Today , the Souq has been architecturally Sharjah Soukrestored to preserve its cultural heritage. Here we will walk through the finely restored Naboodah house which is the biggest in this complex.
Finally we drive past Ajman cornice with a visit to the Ajman Museum, before making our way to Dubai. |
